New Posts vs. Today's Post

Okay, I have a couple questions - and I may be the only one who has thought of these - but just curious if anyone knows the answers...

1) Under View Today's Posts - when does 'today' actually start? Meaning does it go by midnight in each user's timezone? is it a specific time that is different for each person?

2) Under View New Posts - how far back does it go? an hour? a couple hours? several hours??? can the user set the amount of time?

I have been clicking on these at different times when I log on trying to figure them out and can't seem to get it!!! :dontknow1: I may have to resign my Computer Diva name......

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Today's Posts shows posts from the previous 24 hours, so the title might be a little confusing. The New Posts I believe shows the posts that are new since your previous logged in session. At least that is how it appears to be working in my experience.

I wish there was a "View Unread Posts", sometimes with my schedule I may not be able to log on in a 24 hour time period and miss some posts unless I go through each group.

I also miss having a "View Unread Posts" link.

Yep, Daniel is right. Todays are previous 24 and new are since you last logged in.
