Oh, that one is indispensable, the best book on the Catholic religion (and a lot of other stuff, like Christmas and Easter) ever written. But it's heavy reading. I recommend it to everybody, but you won't get through it in a day or two.
Very good suggestion, thank you!

If you want an easy to read summary of the Two Babylons, Jack Chick has published a book called "Babylon Religion". It is all the info from Two Babylons in an easy to read Jack Chick comic format.
Ruckman recommended it in a recent BBB. I bought it. It's pretty good. The only downside to it is that 90% of the references have been removed (instead, the book points you to The Two Babylons if you want the actual historical refernences).

There used to be another book that was really good along the same lines. Like "Babylon Religion" it was kind of a dumbed down version of "The Two Babylons." It was called "Babylon Mystery Religion" by Ralph Woodrow. You can still find it used but expect to pay a lot for it.
The book is hard to find because the guy who wrote it totally recanted on everything in the book that is why it's out of print. He then wrote a rebuttal book to his and "The Two Babylons" which, I think, is called "Babylon Connection." He claims that Hislop was way off an so was he in his earlier book. Truth be told, I think he just couldn't bear the reproach that "Mystery Babylon Religion" brought and sold out.
Just curious if any of you remember this book and still have it. Thankfully I still have two copies of it.
