Actually, you need to convert a DVD into a format accepted by youtube. Youtube accepts .avi, .mov and .mpg files. I would just do a search online for "convert dvd to avi freeware" and see if it pulls up some programs that you could use. I have never done this before or I would offer a program to recommend.
Another option is to just go to youtube and do a search on "convert dvd to avi" and I am sure there will be plenty of tutorials that will help you through it and maybe even some suggestions on programs to use.

You would first have to rip it to a computer and convert the file from DVD to one of the video formats recognized by youtube. Then you could upload it. Depending on the length of the video you may have to break it up into smaller clips.
