The Eight Kingdoms - The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven
by Michael Pearl

I have Dr. Ruckman's "Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven" and it is a very good book, but I like Pearl's book better from a Bible study viewpoint.
I'm about to begin the audio version of:

I purchased the book awhile ago after Lor recommended it and hadn't gotten to it yet, but I found it on audio and since I have so much stitching to do, I'm happy to be able to listen. With a book in my ear buds, my hands busy, and my eyes filled with beautiful colors and patterns, I feel good.
Oh, I hope you enjoy it, sister! I've got a copy in my bookcase, but have not read it in years... Hmm

...oh, yesterday I finished this:

I really enjoy reading Louis L'Amour's books, especially his short stories. They've got a plot, characters, and are clean.

They're just good stories! Reading

And I find myrself rooting for the underdog/hero as I read.
I got lost reading The Mark Of The Beast....I was going along keeping up then it got really weird.
If anyone else has read it I have some questions.
I've read it, and I'm sure William has, too.

I'll make a thread for it so we don't derail this one, okay?
I just finished Cold Sassy Tree. Thanks, Lor. It is a lovely story.
I'm starting this and I hope it is as good as I expect:

I've heard about that one, brother. I'll be interested in your impressions.

I just got back from the library. I almost got this one, just to please Lynne:

But, never having read the original, I didn't think I'd appreciate it. Anyway, I'm not in a fiction mood, so I'll be reading

The latter is a memoir by a death penalty attorney.

Just a little light summer reading...
