Have you ever thought about the implications of the phrase, "endureth for ever?" Here's a quick summary I put together:

Endure = "To last; to continue in the same state without perishing; to remain; to abide," according to Webster's 1828 dictionary. For ever = self-explanatory - eternally, unending.

There are 50 references to that specific phrase, which I'll let you search for yourself, but what are some things that, according to scripture, endure forever?

1) God's mercy. That's perhaps the most significant, and mentioned more than anything else.
2) God's righteousness.
3) God's praise.
4) The righteousness of the man who fears the Lord.
5) God's truth.
6) God's righteous judgments.
7) God's name.
8) The word of the Lord.

Additionally, a search of "endure for ever" turns up six references in Psalms.

1) The Lord.
2) His name.
3) The seed and throne of David.
4) The glory of the Lord.

And five mentions of "abideth for ever" tell us:

1) they that trust in the Lord will abide forever, like Mt. Zion.
2) the earth abideth forever
3) Christ abideth forever
4) the word of God abideth forever
5 he that doeth the will of God abideth forever

Because these things endure forever, we are to:

1) Give thanks to the Lord
2) Praise the Lord
3) Make music to the Lord
4) Worship the Lord
5) Give to the Lord (sacrifice to Him)
6) Preach the word
7) Tell people that his mercy endures forever
That's a wonderful study, Laura: God gave you something! It'll take a while to digest!
Thank You
