I don't know if I posted this here or not but I thought it was cute....

The other night I was walking past the girls' room and Destiny calls me in there.
This is the conversation that we had:

Destiny - "Mama, why are you short?"
Me - "What?"
Destiny - "Whhyy are you short?"
Me - "Because God made me that way."
Destiny - "No! I mean you are getting shorter!"
Me - "Maybe it's not that I am getting shorter but that you are getting taller."
Destiny - "hahaha - that's funny!"

I can relate to that...Iam short and my weight means I should be about six foot eight and two of my nearly teens called me shorty because they had started shooting up.
Then they all past me by and I really am short.When they were little I felt tall.

Me too. I'm shorter than my dh (not by much) and my son, and almost everyone else.

But that's okay: I don't have to duck through doorways or beneath low growing trees, and I rarely hit my head on anything.

I hear ya on that one! I am only 5' tall so it isn't hard to be shorter than just about everyone else. The only time I don't like it is when I can't reach something at the grocery store and have to either ask for help or lift a child onto my shoulders and have them get it.
