My sister in law gave us a Bible from 2001 published by Thomas Nelson. I checked it with the charts that tell what has been changed in the KJB by most of the publishers. It passed.. I was glad to see Saviour spelled Saviour..

Why did these publishers start making all the spelling changes?

There are "innocent" explanations, and more sinister ones. In the case of changing "Saviour" to "Savior," they would say that they were just Americanizing the spelling, which would be true - - - although I don't know why that should be a priority.

On the other hand, think about Biblical numerology. The original word "Saviour" has seven letters, the number of perfection. Reducing it to "Savior" reduces it to six letters - - - the number of man.

I'd call that pretty bad stuff.
Just not many years ago seems the KJB was not messed with. We have a 10 year old Zovander. It doesn't have all the spelling changes either.. This has come in the last ten years it appears from these two publishers. First they will make little changes then they will make big changes.

A very persistent intruder at that! This is the second or maybe third time this spammer's joined, using different IPs!

Say bye-bye again.... Mad
