I read through the newest posts this morning. I do that when I log in after being off line.

Well I read about the British government taking dormant bank account assets. (They have been doing it for years in this country). Then I read the subsequent replies about the placing of GPS devices on cars, in peoples driveways. (Anyone bought a car with On-Star installed.) They don't need to come on your property.

Of course there was a reply about Toyota business practices. Toyota is a Japanese company, after the defeat of Japan in World War II, the Bushido Code (Samurai) was applied to business instead of war. What we see as "POW" treatment is the normal way of doing business in Japan and is part of Japanese culture.

I said all this to make a point. We all pray daily for Jesus to come and get us out of here. These little episodes and government fiascoes are just Him breaking eggs. He has to do that for us to know He is in it and not man. It is still God's world and nothing happens with out Him allowing it.

I have seen it mentioned more than once that the USofA is not mentioned in prophecy as being a world entity. Well he has to take the USofA down for that to happen.

Does that mean I agree with everything that is going on? NO!!

I just accept God has to break a few eggs before he makes his World destroying omelet.

Look up, our redemption draweth night.
AMEN!!
AAAAAAMEN!

Thank you for putting all this trivia in perspective, brother. We pray "Even so, come, Lord Jesus," knowing what's involved in that; and then we squeal like pigs ander a gate when Bush or Obama or Pelosi does something to further diminish this nation's status as a power that could (if it were possible) resist the Man of Sin.

We can't have it both ways. Which is why so many of the "Restore America's Greatness" types, like the "Theonomists" and Reformed Presbyterians, are Amillennialists, and aren't expecting the Rapture anyway. It makes perfect sense, from their standpoint: if Jesus isn't coming to set up His Kingdom, we should be trying to make America "a Christian nation."

But Bible believers have no business getting messed up in all that worldly, delusional hoopla.

Ah, don't get me started......
Amen and Amen brother.

It gets hard, sometimes, to sit back and watch this country go 'down the tubes': I was raised to love my country, and in a way, I still do, at least the principles on which it was founded.

But I don't expect we'll be anything but third rate when the Lord comes back, so I just sigh and 'accept' the inevitable.

I know it is hard Sister. But I have come to realize I have a citizenship in a place far greater than this country(which I do love). My new allegiance is to Heaven and the Captain of my Faith. I am just a refugee here waiting for the celebration in Heaven.

Hebrews 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
"This world is not my home, I'm just a passin' through..."
