Holiday went fine apart from this stupid flu. I am still coughing and still have a runny nose. I have a cold sore under my nose and I could be doing with another holiday to recover from this one, apart from that we had a lovely time. Lots of visitors down and then lots of cleaning after they left. Abigail goes back to school tomorrow otherwise we would still be away.

Hoping and praying that everything is well with yourself, and I hope you had a lovely day on your birthday.

I took the day off, and did a couple of errands including getting my driver's license renewed. I then spent several hours over at the local cat shelter, cleaning and organizing, even catching a loose kitten that had evaded workers for a couple of days (haha! he was NO match for me! Biggrin

). For my 'cake', my dh had purchased a 'mocha bliss' cake from the store, but it was very good, and very small...so I couldn't be tempted to eat all of it!

Then, when I got back to work today, I found a card on my desk. In it was a 'black' birthday card :wink: and when I opened the card, it had been signed by most of the clinic nurses and staff!!!! I almost cried.

I am so blessed. God is good.
