Sister,I have no problem with those words. I use them with great frequency. I think it is because of where you were raised. I am not that far from there in Colorado.

If I'm being serious, I write as well as I can, using 'proper' English.

If I'm just sayen stuff, then I'll use a less correct and more conversational type of grammar and syntax.

If it were possible, my grandmother would be spinning in her grave: she was an English teacher from the early 1900s, and a stickler for proper everything!

...I even know which fork to use in a fancy restaurant...
