I really like the "print to pdf" feature. When there is an excellent article like that online I print it as a pdf and then can read it later either on my palm or now even on a phone, which comes in handy while waiting for appointments.
Thanks for posting that link.
Thank you, Sister Laura. What a great find!
Brother Daniel, how did you get it to print to pdf? I don't see that option.
Well I am not Daniel but I know how he does it. Print to PDF is an option you can do in Linux. When you choose your printer, it allows you to print to PDF. And I agree with him, it rocks.
It is a feature that automatically comes installed with CUPS (Common Unix Printing System), but I imagine that there should be some program available for windoze machines that can be downloaded and installed that will allow you do this. It is really nice for archiving web articles and such. Plus you can upload them to any device capable of displaying PDF. Let me do some checking and see what I come up with.
Here is the 'cute' little program I used years ago when I still had a windoze machine.

It is actually quite simple these days. I converted a decade ago, and yes it was a complicated, complex process back then. But now, it is easier to install Linux than Windows.
