Thank you, but they really are one of my favorites, so it wasn't hard.

Since we seem to be hovering around the subject of the Beatles: what Beatles song is the most-recorded song in history, with approximately 3,000 versions already recorded?

Very good guess, and I think most people think that was the first but alas.... Somebody beat them....

Actually, The Who had written a "mini" rock opera earlier, "A Quick One While He's Away," which was only about 30 minutes long: I saw them perform it as part of their act in 1966 or 67. But "Tommy" was probably the first commercially successful rock opera.

As for the answer to our sister's question, I have no idea.

"Little" hint: The Who got their idea from the group that was with them on tour(first part of the programme). The one I ask was about 13 minutes.
