War with Satan did happen; when? Between 0-2 or? And was that war only an hour or? And with Satan flying in and bragging, look at what I've done and then the dinasour (part of satan's kingdom; see EZ 28:12-19) is extinct. Then satan is going about to and fro to decieve. And on to day 3.
As I've said; maybe this stuff is fun thinking. What I do know is the GEN account is correct. God got it right and one day I/we'll know. We are to occupy, be faithful and of good stewardship not failing the great commission.
The above model does mimic somewhat ancient cultures. Strange: here in the USA, the Hopi Indians claim this is the final percession and there were three before. CAn it be? If it is: puts the six day model as view with gaps around beginning to day 2. Or seems to lean that way. I am not counting on it being correct. However God did it is OK with me. I don't think I'll start a topic of the gospel of day 2.

This is all indeed quite interesting, but if there is a gap in creation, then why would it be written when God asked Job concerning the earth, when ALL of the Son's of God shouted for joy?
Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
Job 38:5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
Job 38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

It would seem TO ME, that Satan rebelled shortly after the creation of Man in his desire to BE God. We are not told after all how much time passed after the Seventh day in which God rested from all his works, and the fall of Man. After all, Man began to die once they broke the commandment and ate of the forbidden tree. So I personally do not believe that there could be a gap wherein Satan has had any rule, even though he is the ruler of THIS world which is reserved for the fire. Never the less, I don't think it is such an issue that it should divide Christians, for we are saved by grace through faith in him who loves us and gave himself for us. Oh how just knowing that brings such comfort to mine heart.
I've seen the 'thousand day' argument applied to Creation, but I believe the context is about the coming of the Lord, the Second Advent.
Should we apply the 'thousand day' verse to Creation? 
Yes; I believe God spoke it into existance and as He said it - it was there. Gen creation days were --- are there not 12 hrs in a day and yes we use a day is 24 hrs and I think the day 1, 2, 4, etc... were 24 hr periods. IN Bible prophesy though we see that periods do not always equal the face time but prophesy time. Correct me if I'm wrong here.
I think from Adam to now is basically 6,000 yr. But if you use them as a 1,000 yrs you're looking at beginning to now 12,000 and put in the gap theroy (time enough to war with Satan and then again to destroy his folly) and you still can't come up with the evolutionists billions and billions of years.
Do the math of the rate of the shrinkage of the sun and you'd have it encompassing the planets Mercury and Venus and Earth as a cinder.
Do the math on biology and there it goes to trillions and trillions. The Bible is the science book that willl not have to be re-written to make corrections.

Another thought: Satan was kicked out of Heaven and fell to earth. The earth was here. Was it at day one with the earth covered in water and reptiles going into the sea. And then at land divide great destruction of the reptile kingdom and more................. I promised you I was not there and God didn't ask my advise ;-D. These things are fun to think about but not to get side-tracked on.
In the past when I had TV I notice a lot of foolishness regarding God, creation and evolution that was feable minded drool IMHO.
What we know is the GEN account is correct. We know Satan made war with God and he was cast down. We know that ole serpent was cast down with his followers which were some that joined him and all of his group. I think his group were destroyed sometime and it does appear after the earth was spoken into existance. So all those things have to fit in and do. It does seem there is some latitude there for war and destruction of his kingdom of reptiles.
Sorry for getting so windy on the subject and it basically has not place in the gospel else the apostles would have been teaching it. So, before man and the Bible, God did it and how He want to! The beauty of its wonderment. Like the apostles beholding the temple. I long for a NH & NE - maybe Jesus will come today.

Gen 1:31; how could everything be very good if Satan had fell previously?
