Can any of you please tell me where I can buy a good audio Bible? I been interested for one in a while, and would like to find one that's well recorded, and with a good voice. Can anyone please help? I'll appreciate it.

Note: No offense to the ladies here, but please no voices of women. It just that it would feel really weird to me, to have a woman read the Bible to me.

I don't think I've ever heard a woman reading the Bible on an audio one like you're thinking of.
I found mine in a Christian bookstore I rarely go into...I've also seen one read by James Earl Jones on the shelf at Indigo, which is a secular bookstore along the lines of (but a little smaller than) Barnes and Noble.
Gary had posted a couple of links to online audio Bibles too, in MP3 format...I'll see if I can find them!
Ok, found 'em - scroll to the bottom of the page with this one:

Here's the other one - the Bible is between "worship" and "contacts," underneath the flags:

Brother, the very best audio Bible, by far, is the one recorded by Alexander Scourby. He had a magnificent voice, but not "dramatic" like James Earl Jones or Charlton Heston, and on the cassettes I have, he actually added a little preface explaining why he chose the KJB. He's dead now, but his reading of the Bible lives on; it's played for 15 minutes day on many Chrisrian radio stations.
You can get it on cassette or CD or MP3. One of the places you can get it, in all three formats, is
The KJB Store, which sells only King James Bibles. Look at the left hand margin for the various formats.
Scourby is the best. In fairness, however, Charlton Heston knew his stuff. When he released "his" audio Bible, an interviewer asked, "Why didn't you use one of the modern versions?" Heston replied, "Because they're based on corrupt manuscripts!"
But Scourby's voice is the best. If you go to
this site, which I don't recommend as a supplier, they have little online clips of him reading, to give you a sample.
Don't get a dramatized Bible, I regret I made that mistake, the reader I have made a question out of "..and it is marvelous in our eyes?" and it's not, it is a statement, a surety.
Thank you! All of you!
I must now pray that I'll be able to get one soon. I'll see you folks around if God wills!

Now Bible
Go Bible by Alexander Scourby
Thank you sister. I checked both of those links, and I have to say I'm very interested on the Go Bible. Like my brethren said previously, Alexander Scourby had an excellent voice! So far I like his more than the other Bible readers.
The Go Bible would be ideal for me, because I don't have a car. I go around places either on foot, or by public transportation. I would not be able to practically carry all those CDs. An MP3 player or I-Pod like device suits me better.
Too bad the suppliers of the Go Bible are not King James Only! If only the store William recommended had it! :(
Anyway, thank you again sister!

Don't know if this is too late, but the Bible Baptist Bookstore has some. If you go to
http://host248.ebm.bestsoftwarehost.com/...ompany=BBB - you can click on Audio Bibles on the lefthand navigation bar. Some of the ones mentioned above are listed here. Hope this helps!

This is off the subject.. But do you know if either one of those men were Born again Christians?

hope this didn't seem like a dumb question..I was really curious cause just because they made recordings reading the Bible, doesn't mean they were saved.. I have never heard anything about either one's salvation.
