Many of the threads on this forum are excellent, and some are worth having for offline reference. At the bottom of each thread there are a couple of options that are helpful to this purpose.
First there is "View a Printable Version". If you like paper copies, just click this link and then print the page. I prefer to file and catalog reference documents in PDF format, so I "View a Printable Version" and then print the document, but select "Print to File" as my printer and select the PDF option. This will export the print document to a PDF that I can file and catalog electronically. I can even open the PDF and edit out superfluous posts.
Also, you can send the thread to friends and family that may not yet be members of this great place by clicking the "Send this Thread to a Friend" link. You never know, maybe they will come and join. I do know some people who use email as their way of cataloging and storing important files, so if that is you, simply email the thread to yourself.
