Oh yes! Lots of us got hurt, but nobody really cared, it was just part of growing up, nobody sued the school. It was mostly bumps, scraps, and bruises, but even kids that broke bones would be back on the monkey bars wearing a cast.

I remember when America was a more Godly nation before we got shipwrecked. Homosexuality and atheism are rampant now. Didn't even know what "gay" marriage was until just a few years ago.

Yes indeed, Senorita, I loved to smell the ink on the paper of a mimeograph machine.

There's a scene in a movie about high school in the 70s, where, as the mimeograph quizzes are being handed out, everyone puts it up to their nose and inhales. Yep, I remember that.

I don't think any of us did that for a 'buzz', it just had a very pleasant smell...

Remember before there were bicycles with 'speeds'? We all rode standard bicycles, with coaster brakes.

In order to make it up a hill or get home quickly, we would stand up and pedal as fast as we could.

Speed bikes are for wimps...
