Yes when I was in Jr. High. She was French, it consisted of two letters. She wrote me a letter enclosing a picture of herself. I replied in kind and she never wrote me again. In my own defense my Jr. High school pictures were adorable, my mommy said they were.

Have you ever gone to the store for a specific item and after picking up a few other things, gotten home without the original item you went for?

Oh yeah, and the worst was with my Grandmother. I went to town with her, to help her with the buggy and all. All we needed was bread and milk, we spent over $100 had a full buggy and got home with everything except bread and milk.

Have you ever gotten dressed, got in the truck, and drove all the way into town, and then couldn't remember what you had come to town for?

With my Grandmother, it was blueberries. She needed blueberries. We came out with lots more than that, but it seems to me she did remember the blueberries. That was over 20 years ago: funny how stuff like that sticks with us!

Nope, but I did enter a costume contest as a teen ager for our youth group. I dressed up as Jonah. I glued live fish and sea weed to myself and my robe, and mushed my hair up with vaseline. I won, of course. I always win costume contests. You should have seen me as a rinestone cowboy with a guitar on my back for our 70s contest back in College and Career class....
