cold cereal is Ancient Grains with a snack size box of raisins mixed in; hot cereal is oatmeal with a box of raisins mixed in. Both soaking in just the perfect amount of milk. No added sugar.

I'm with Speedy:
Cold cereal: Total Raisin Bran
Hot cereal: Cream of Wheat, but I like it with a pat of butter and brown sugar in the bottom...they melt from the heat and then I stir them in.
I think I'll go make a bowl of that right now!

I rarely eat cereal, but I like wheat germ very much, provided it's covered with sugar. Honey-nut Cheerios are acceptable. But I rarely eat breakfast; when I do, it consists of four raw eggs mixed with V-8 Juice. Not yummy, but quick and nutritious.

I like eggs and I love V-8 juice but I don't think I could drink them together. I remember my dad eating raw eggs...eww!...ya know, that isn't good for you 'cause of the salmonella???

I've heard that, yes, but I'm not sure I believe it. I'm very careful about salmonella in other foods. As for my little recipe, the V-8 kills the taste of the eggs, although not the texture. And, by the grace of God, cholesterol has never been a problem for me. Anyway, I don't drink this concoction every day!
I love omelets and other kinds of eggs, too; I just don't usually eat them for breakfast, because I'm in too much of a hurry to cook. But I can make an omelet with fresh mushrooms that would break your heart.
