Today, one of our 'young' men sang this song. You should have seen the look of pure joy and bliss on his face as he sang. It brought me to tears.
Close to the end of the song I gave in to the Holy Spirit's leading, and raised both hands up high. I don't know why I resist...

Fernando Ortega is one of my favorite contemporary Christian musicians.
I didn't say 'worldly' Sister, but that is one of my pet peeves. I don't believe Contemporary means bad or worldly. Kind of like the thread on scholarship, the importance is the application and outcome. Some contemporary music is very good stuff, some of it is garbage. Some music from 200 years ago is really good, some of it is worldly garbage.
The good stuff will endure the test of time, the bad stuff will fall by the wayside.
Amy Grant was contemporary (back in the 80's), she is not contemporary now.
At one time Charles Wesley, Fanny Crosby, John Newton, et. al were contemporary, but not now.
