OK this is going to sound like a strange post. It is something I have pondered the last few months.

How do you cite the name of a book and a movie in a post? Is it Glory or Glory or both?

Is it Theological Studies Vol 2 or Theological Studies Vol 2 or both?

Also what about the use of Quotation marks in the title?

It has been too many years since high school English as well as since I had to write a paper with proper citing. I do know it should be basic English, but I talks it better than I writes it.

Thanx

Gary
I don't believe I'm consistent when it comes to citing book and movie titles, but generally I underline book titles and quotation mark movie titles.

I used to keep a style sheet handy back in my high school essay-writing days. I wouldn't be surprised if most of those rules have changed since computers have been in common usage.
Unless you're writing a scholarly paper, these conventions will do:

Books: The Grapes of Wrath, Theological Studies, Vol. I

Movies, TV shows, plays:
"Million Dollar Baby," "American Idol," "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf"

Articles: "Strictly Personal," Peter S. Ruckman, Bible Believers' Bulletin, May 2009

Newspapers and magazines: Time, The Denver Post, The Sword of the Lord

Websites: take your pick. AV Bible Believers Fellowship or AV Bible Believers Fellowship are both okay. "AV Bible Believers Fellowship" would not be. But since most references to websites are merely the urls, it doesn't come up very often. I would refer to seeing an article in Haaretz, The Drudge Report, or Salon.
