Wow...they really want everyone's information. We sent in our census form the day after we received it but a census worker just came to the door and took the exact same information from me again. I told him that we had mailed it in but he said he understood that but they were supposed to go door-to-door and get all the information from everyone, even if they had mailed it in. It is sad when if you don't submit to giving information such as this that you will be fined or jailed over it. 
Ah well - I have nothing to hide.
So, what's the point of $pending dollar$ on census form$ when they're going to go door to door anyway?

We mailed ours too.. I didn't see any big deal with the questions asked. but if someone comes to the door asking for the info we all ready mailed I'm not giving it to them. I heard today my county has had the most sent back in my state. It was 70 some percent. The national average was only around 50%.
Well I got mine and can't remember where I put it. Guess I will have to find it.
Forgot to file my income tax too. OH well I guess I am on the FBI 10 Most Wanted List now.
I have no issue with the questions. I love Census Reports, well one of my hobbies is genealogy. Census Reports make it easy to find ancestors.

Oh, I didn't have any issues with the questions either. But the fact that someone can be put in jail or fined should they not want to fill it out (some may not want to due to 'religious' reasons or other reasons) is what bothers me.

I found this on the website of the forms and thought it was funny. Here's an answer to an earlier question:
I filled out and returned the form but a census taker visited my home anyway.
Quality checks are used to assure our procedures are working and that our staff is doing the job they were assigned to do. These checks require that some households be visited more than once. Additionally, if you returned your form late, your response might not be logged before a census taker is sent out.
Yes, but I filled it out literally the day it arrived and then it got mailed out the very next morning when the mail came!!! That is what I don't understand.
