I see your point. But I must tell you: when I talk about the Illuminati and the Bilderbergers and such, I'm mostly joking (as in this thread). I believe that they exist, of course, but they don't worry me at all, and I'm not obsessed with them the way some American Christians are. The real Conspirator is the Enemy: and the Bilderbergers or Obama or George Bush take their marching orders from him.
Also, in America at least, real, serious preoccupation with these conspiracies always ends at the same place: with anti-Semitism. God save me from ever getting into that!

When I start searching I always end just beyond the Vatican to the one who takes confession of the pope and answers to "you-know-who". Well and then eventually of course their boss, "you-know-who".
I cannot deny finding traces of people who call themselves Jewish, but then again, there are so many people calling themselves christian and they are not.... Also a lot of pharisees were Jewish but the Lord was not at all pleased with their ways (to say the least).
Don't get me wrong! I'm supporting the people of Israel if I can and I'm praying blisters on my knees for them, most certainly if the Lord will have mercy on them for the time to come, untill they accept Christ.

That's certainly true. There are plenty of Jews, or those calling themselves Jews, who are scumbags and weasels. And I don't think that the Jews are "the chosen people" - - - a claim that Jews don't even make of themselves!

I am a very tolerant man, on a personal level. But the only person I have ever thrown out of my home was a friend who started bad-mouthing the Jews. I simply wouldn't have it.
I've said many times in this forum, Margreet, that the Roman Catholic Church is the most evil institution in human history. I agree with you that, if human conspiracies are to be found, they can be traced back to Rome: not to a "Jewish banking cartel."
But the Enemy is the one we need to worry about in our daily lives. As Ruckman said in one of our classes, "You guys can't just go over there and punch the Pope out!"
