Many of these are good but I find few can be used before someone gets confused and asks you type it out in full! Laugh

The only one every man and his dog knows is LOL, the rest I would only attempt to use amongst people who I know are familiar with them, otherwise I end up repeating myself. Have you ever received a text from a teenager who types in text language shorthand, it's rather frustrating to read and you end up doing the unthinkable and phoning them up to translate it!

You know what we need? You've undoubtedly noticed the scripture-cursor thingie that makes a scripture show up when you hold your cursor over a reference? We need one of those for our abbreviations!

That's a novel idea, brother. I must say, the addition of the Bible lookup software on this forum is most excellent! Love it.
