I want to organize the photos I have uploaded, but when I click on the 'create folder', I am told I do not have permission to create folders.
Can you give me permission?
That's Luke's baliwick sis. I am sure when he is on he will take care of it.
Gary
Gary is right, sister: I can't create new folders, either. The indignity of it! But Luke, the
SuperAdministrator, might be able to help.
As of today, permission to create folders has not been granted. At least not for us rank and file members. Perhaps the mods have been give a special dispensation. Hmmm.

Nope. No special dispensation here....
Hey I wonder if this could be readdressed now? It would be very nice to have the ability to create folders and organize the files.

I still do not have the ability to create folders.
However, I will check with one of our admins to see if it is possible for them to do so.
The situation has not changed, brother. But it will. Be patient. All will come clear.
Believe nothing that you see or hear.
The sign is "Who's on first?"
The countersign is "I fear nothing."
Just a couple quick things.
First: In all the Apart templates and the CD templates, if you change to those color schemes, when you click on File Uploader, it now opens a new window instead of taking you completely out of the forum.
Second: The File Uploader. This is a separate software from the forum. Someone (which I assume it was Luke) went to the File Uploader software and signed up with that company. Then that gave our forum permission to use the file uploader program. Only the person who signed up with that company has the username and password to log onto the file uploader and make changes.
Nobody here, except Luke, is able to change those settings since the program is not included with the forum. If Luke doesn't want to or simply doesn't have the time to, the only thing we can do is have someone here sign up a new account and then take control of the File Uploader. Then I believe that individual Folders could be set up for each individual member.
I hope this makes sense. When things slow down in a week or two, maybe something different can be done than what is being done now. But for right now, I think our hands' are tied.
Makes perfect sense, mrscassjade. Thanks for the clarification!
